The processing of the Bilora leaves no wish unfulfilled. Only the horizontal rotation could be a bit easier proceed. I use the Manfrotto with a Sony Alpha 500 and div. Lenses, so far mostly macros. Previously holding the Bilora what it promises and the camera he holds there where it should be. The locking screws are meticulously crafted and not hooks. The ball head is running full.
Unlike the Benro was included neither tool for tightening the screws still attached to change the threaded inserts of the tripod adapter. The thread inserts were missing also. Wherein the tool is a lesser evil. Here Bilora should still make improvements and facilitate the tripod users from other manufacturers the installation of Manfrotto ball heads.
Short and sweet
Positives:
+ Good workmanship
+ Stable
+ Sufficient carrying capacity
+ Very reasonable price
Negatives:
- Lack of threaded inserts for stand head shots of other manufacturers
- Stiff horizontal adjustment
My conclusion: Entirely adequate ball head for the amateur photographer, with consumer-friendly acquisition price and good value for money.
The missing thread inserts however mess up the Bilora a place in the five-star sun. 50 cents more would not hurt the Bilora compared with the ball heads from other manufacturers and the consumer paid a piece flexibility.
