We know Emmanuel Carrère passionate PK Dick, and therefore reads "mustache" as an interpretation "French" famous tilter expensive reality of American genius ... "A French" because exploring with a perverse delight in the psychological torments his victims caused such a shift. Until literally unbearable, but perfectly consistent conclusion, since finding an exit to the nightmare of "parallel universes", the hero of this dark story can only take note of the irreversible emptiness of the concept of reality. And draw the only possible conclusion ... A final note: we remember the disturbing but warm enough film Carrère himself had drawn from this great little book, and now regrets it was not that Cronenberg has created the "brain-movie" radical and gore that this "book-brain" logically called.
