Commissioning Mac went quite fast. However, I had to first download the latest driver from the Internet, as these are not supplied. Accordingly, toner level indicator etc. are in English, but not that bothers me.
Previously, I've used the previous model CLP 320, which is unfortunately broke down. There was at the time just the CLP 365 on the market, I bought this. In retrospect, a mistake. The CLP 320 prints faster (especially the warm-up period is significantly shorter) and the print quality is much better. Especially in color printing, the deficits show. Light to medium color gradations are not printed clearly, so that the image is behind a single Farbgematsche. The black and white printing is indeed fine, but I was the typeface on the CLP 320 sharply before. It also prints very slowly. That strikes me especially when black and white printing. When CLP 320 the leaves came only so shot out, in this printer, you can drink only between there again for a coffee to go (or two or three) until the pressure finally is finished) in a 200-page script.
On enttäuschensten is the toner consumption. The CLP 365 consumes considerably more toner than its predecessor, the toners are also more expensive.
For my purposes (mainly black and white), the printer is sufficient. In retrospect, I would not buy it to me again.
Conclusion:
- Print quality okay, deficient in color expressions but
- Too long warm-up time
- Printing takes longer than specified
- High toner consumption
- Toner for expensive
All in all it is a mediocre good printer that is in my opinion too expensive and also a step backwards compared to the predecessor model.
