the notebook is to accompany my brother during the school day, for this purpose, the device is very good, because it is cheap and it quite powerful and well equipped.
Windows 8.1 is how I personally feel all right, when one has worked a little. The initial installation is quite simple, it is to create a Microsoft account, which, however, can also be linked to a non-Microsoft domain-mail, z. B. web.de or or or ...
If the device is ready for use and set up a connection is established to the network, I first almost all the programs that are not required by Windows or for drivers etc. uninstalled. That must not be done, however.
In battery mode, it runs quite long and very quiet, as well as the net operating. However, my download rate was very slow when in battery mode, where I then remembered that USB ports, network card and other components are often put into a sleep mode when the device is in battery mode. This is in the Control Panel under the Advanced Power Options set, then it went even faster with the first about 1 GB Windows Update Salve :)
Furthermore, I could not fault it, except that is not mentioned in the product description that the Recher has installed a wireless network card, which connects to 150 MB / s with my router.
The monitor is lit background matte and very evenly, keyboard and touchpad make a solid and high quality impression.
The entire setup with 2 GHz Intel CPU and 4GB of RAM is well balanced, it runs fast and stable.
Many of the ports located on the back, on the left you will find a USB 2 port and an SD card reading. Everything else is behind.
Conclusion:
To work and manage the notebook is super. Even small games are possible, but one finds nunmal a processor with (only) a core from which always does a good job, but is of course to bring to its limits.
Office 2010 runs fine.
I would buy it again.
