Only Remixes.

Madonna's "You Can Dance" is a remix album. Except for a (then) new song "Spotlight" are all other songs remixes of older songs. "Spotlight" is a fast, danceable ballad, however, does not quite reach the Madonna's standard. The Remixes merge into one another, so there is no break between each song. Of course, one must not expect here techno mixes, because the CD was released in 1987 . However commandments are quite danceable, between six and eight minute long, especially for those who love music of the eighties appropriate mix. I especially like the new versions of "Over And Over" and "Into The Groove". In addition, there are three "Dub Version" of "Holiday", "Into The Groove" and "Where's The Party". These have the particularity of having long passages without vocals. Instead, the beats are in the foreground. (This is an Amazon.com at the university -Studentenrezension.)
