Perfect ... caught in theory anyway, Monday Model? - Update

-Handling:
is top notch. The mouse is 1A in the hand, which is clearly noticeable in shooters like Battlfield and CS. By grippy side panels you have a very firm grip. Here lies the great big shortcoming of my model. The build quality is good in itself, no inaccurate gap dimensions or otherwise.
The problem is the mouse wheel. It does not sit firmly in his suspension and has clearly play right and left. This becomes noticeable by rattling, feels when you press the mouse wheel wobbly and imprecise and makes all the beautiful noble mouse impression naught. So much so that the mouse wheel during fast mouse movements back and herrutscht and accordingly makes noises. Such a thing is absolutely out of place in a 60-mouse that otherwise does not offer much except good handling and precision (no weights, no battery / detachable cable, no accessories of any kind, no extra Mausglides etc. pp.).

-Price:
Theoretically, "just" justified. It's more on the border of what is offered, but would still okay - when the mouse wheel problem would not. Such Schnizer may not allow you to. This is similar to when Apple would sell iPhones at once, where the Home button rattles back and forth.

Conclusion:
Beautiful mouse, among all gamers mice actually the perfect model (and for people with big hands and a penchant for optical sensors the only available). Schick, great handling, extreme precision. Stupidly, it did not work with the mouse wheel. Therefore, I will return my. I admit SteelSeries but a second chance, and will not directly change to the Kone XTD, but first stay with this brand. From others I know that they have no problems with their mouse wheel - Monday models are always just, and I hope that does not accumulate these reports. Would be a shame to an otherwise great product. Get this review supplemented by a review on the exchange model.

Good news, mouse wheel makes no more calamities. Still not the same quality as with my old Lachesis, but I can live well. So accordingly, thumbs up for the Rival)
