I bought the HDMI distribution to my projector, in addition to a DVD palyer, also to be able to hang a Kindle Fire without getting to pick the unit from the rack down. (The projector has only one HDMI port - is just a bit aged.) The distributor has poses no problems. Simply connect the projector detects the device itself, to which input a signal is present. If a plurality of inputs to be a signal, one can switch through the switch inputs in sequence. A diode shows each of which input is active. I would recommend the distribution in good conscience.
