The combination of light intensity and therefore short on sunlight exposure and fixed focal length makes it easier to create snapshots immensely. So do not miss any moments that are by fumbling at fainter standard zoom and search for the appropriate focal length long gone before you in focus.

In regard to the frequency in which I use this focal length is the SMC DA 35 / 2.4 lens and a really great at the price simply unbeatable. Likely Bokehfetischisten however actually more along the lines 2.8 Limited squint and if you like it a little variable, the Sigma has just the 18-35 / 1.8 released. That's about twice as fast, but plays in terms of price and size / weight in a different league ...
