Dragon Age Inquisition is undoubtedly a good game. It offers many hours of entertainment, action and powerful sound.
The story of the predecessor is hereby continued: The conflict between mages and templars worsens further, the church be destroyed and to make matters worse demons reach through cracks in the world. Cracks that can be closed by one person (well who probably?).
It is now therefore up to the player, the order in the world to re-establish a team of trustworthy and quick-witted companions around himself and to banish the demons into their world.
Gameplay:
Along the way, there are many many quests to fulfill. You can not even say that these quests not offer variety, but they usually run according to the same scheme: go to point A, cut it all dead and collect something and come back.
It is amazing with what mundane activities someone can deal with who should have to save the world (kill wolves, gather herbs, catch escaped animals again, etc.). Here the quests in Dragon Age Origins were reasonable leader and went on a mere stumble through the area considerably beyond.
If you the predecessor has played, the decisions made there and scenarios for Dragon Age Inquisition can be imported. Otherwise, the game is based on a standard scenario (eg which group was led in Kirkwall from an abomination).
Beautiful are the many small mini-quests in Dragon Age Inquisition: treasure maps, Astarien, Occulare - which makes even mood.
Struggles offer a tactic view I hardly need. If the hero troupe has reached the appropriate level, most opponents are to beat well.
Companions:
All dialogs are set to music and I have no annoying clipping errors like Mass Effect noticed so far. Gradually you will find in the game numerous companions with different abilities, sexual attitudes and cultural background.
The own actions and decisions have an impact on how these companions see the hero. Also you can take numerous romances again - for every taste is catered for.
Unfortunately, there is in dealing with the Companions of the draft of Dragon Age Origins. No companion of dying or has left the group because of the decisions - it remains a wellness club, in which the player must have no fear of wrong choices. Page long conversations about the motivation of combatants can not hide the fact, unfortunately. Admittedly, we are spoiled from Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect - because it could sometimes happen that we also had to suddenly struggling against a former companion, if you had chosen wrong.
Very nice that in addition to gender, the race and class of the hero was included in the discussions. If you play for example an elven mage, then this point will certainly be noted in the dialogues. On gameplay that changes however nothing.
Performance:
To play Dragon Age Inquisition full resolution, one already needs a high-end computer with a modern graphics card. The textures are detailed, the effects bombastic. I had to reduce some Auflösungsseinstellungen in to still play the game smoothly on my two year old computer, however.
FSK 18:
Contrary Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age II DA Inquisition has no FSK 18 limit. Why is that? The fights are still bloody and can also be sexually active again. There are several reasons: 1. we believe the protection of young people probably just more about
2. EA now has its finger in the pie
3. Are really explicit or sombre moments in the game does not exist. I remember dark scenes in the deep routes in Dragon Age Origins, severed heads in Dragon Age II, and so on Inquisition Dragon Age is not good, but less dramatically.
Conclusion:
Dragon Age Inquisition is undoubtedly a good RPG and recommend without hesitation. Fans of the old games will indeed miss the draft, but that's mostly with successors successful series.
The game can keep you entertained for many hours, has an epic story and a fast-paced final. Fun and excitement guaranteed.
