For example, I have on my system (Intel i5-2500K @ 4.0 GHz, ASRock Gen3 Extreme3, 8GB Corsair Vengeance, OCZ Agility 60GB SSD, Seagate Barracuda 3TB SATA3 and halt the Asus GTX670 DC2 achieve the following with 2GB values (measured with FRAPS):
Battlefield 3 - 1080p, all settings on max = 55-60 FPS to 99% adhered to the display 60 FPS (over 60 FPS support my TV does not)
Max Payne 3 - 1080p, all settings on max = continuous 60 FPS
Crysis 2 in DX11 mode with HD textures - 1080p, all at least 55 FPS max =
Crysis 1 - 1080p, all at max = 50 FPS
Hitman Absolution - 1080p, all at max = 40 FPS, with only 60 FPS even 2xMSAA
Reason to buy was 3 to play at the highest settings online liquid Battlefield. And it works as described at the outset, super.
Benchmarks Although I have already done (HEAVEN) but I do not know the score. I do not care, because the card is perfect for my purposes.
As a comparison, I can with an otherwise identical setup only the AMD Radeon HD 6850 (slightly overclocked) use. This succeeded in Battlefield 3 only a measly 25 FPS, and thus too little to cope online. In Max Payne 3 I could for lack of video memory (1 GB) do not enable the highest settings, as they were dependent on the available video memory.

It should be noted that the card is huge. I've just received 600 fitted with a bit of fumbling in my Cooler Master Gladiator. A few millimeters more and it would not have fitted (drive cage is in the way).
All in all, the card a round thing. The additional cost GTX680 can save mE and invest in a good board or in an SSD.
As previously loyal ATI or AMD-customer (about 10 years), I had to rely on Nvidia once again. After several tests, the Asus GTX670 is already with standard clocking Radeon HD7970 or come to this in some cases refer to the barriers.
