The Philips Hue bulbs are great and there are now plenty of apps to prepare etc. lot of fun with music, lounge, alarm clock function. I own several iris bulbs and E27 bulbs. In principle it can be said that the iris can represent more colors like green and turquoise in brightness but a little worse than the E27 which lack these colors. Can you live with it, and puts more emphasis on anyway natural colors (white, yellow, orange, red) then I advise any of the E27. In combination with a globe lamp IKEA here you can reach very good diffuse illumination of the room.
