The Beach Boys compete with the Beatles, for a time with the next hit Good vibrations they even exceed the UK. Brian Wilson composes, Mike Love often writes lyrics (not for Pet sounds) and all sing, the other two brothers and friend Alan Jardine, Mike's cousin. Brian the gifted, leaving the stage to concentrate on composition and production progresses like any artist - it is one for the genius and character - the premises of Pet sounds excellent on Today and Summer days and summer nights. Finally comes the great work: melodies, sensitive lyrics, sophisticated arrangements, beyond the rock, pop, many musicians and the "family" to voice: beautiful!. Album here in mono and stereo (I prefer to advise the helmet on a Hi-Fi) and DVD, all at low cost: the pop genius at hand and purse. This album has not aged, so great quality since 1966!. What sense of harmony and the implications of the title! : Pet sounds which could bring sounds corny (pets) or favorite sounds, what I like and this seems more relevant to me. Brian has already made a mistake to believe that his masterpiece admired by all (including the Beatles, particularly Paul) was surpassed by Sergeant Pepper's Fab Four. This may even be true, without underestimating the "Sergeant Pepper" and all his band, Pet sounds is more consistent, better sound system, music stamps in American popular music and universal. This follow-up to the leader alchemist in his ivory tower, excesses, depression, a shipwreck on the beach surfers and scattered pieces, unfinished named "Smile, Smiley." The world "rock" not far away changed in Monterey, Frisco earlier than LA and he even forgot that dice Wild honey, the group remained outstanding in melodic and harmonic level. For me, all their albums are listening to The Light Album on which there remain some beads. Pet Sounds is superb but more important it is, the productions of the Beach Boys will often jovial but lessons climates of this album will not be forgotten. In fact there has even excerpts from the album on Smile, reworked new version of the former fails to as the leader. In terms of Pet Sounds, at this level and that price, more than advised in all nightclubs. I forgot thinking the album as a whole, however, some titles are detached at least for fame: Would not it be nice, Sloop John B and God only knows.
