Sure I can not give you a decisive experience for picture quality, I've made a few test shots. What I can say is that the FZ150 is better to feel worlds. It is much easier and handier to operate better. I was skeptical regarding the zoom lever on the lens, as the FZ50 was beautifully served "old-fashioned" a zoom ring, which was very good. But the continuous adjustment of the FZ150 via the lever is not a step backwards.
A further plus is the shutter speed of the FZ150. Again, it suggests the FZ50 worlds, as it in this still a major problem was to make certain photos ever since the trip time was just too slow. After my first tests with the FZ150 I am thrilled with the speed.
The FZ150 the menu convinced me so far also very. Since it is not too cluttered, but you can adjust much.
In the coming days I will then make of the testing of certain things, such as face recognition, the iA mode, the change in the Picture Style, etc .. All these are things that you could not change in the FZ50.
Much more I can not tell at present, but I am looking forward to taking pictures with the camera. Since I'm just already impressed by what they can. As I said always seen in relation to the FZ50, which has given me very good pictures.
First Update from 06.11.2011:
Was able to take pictures for the first time properly with the FZ150 today and yesterday, and of course extensively tested :)
Especially I tried the different modes (P, IA, scene modes etc.). This often in conjunction with the bracket, which is now regulated in third stage (which I personally find positive). Truly breathtaking is the Ausösegeschwindigkeit which helps especially with moving subjects or when the photograph of macros. Have fun makes this especially with the continuous shooting mode. Just crazy what has changed since in contrast to the FZ50, which in my opinion there has its greatest weakness. The photos are in any case very crisp and sharp, no matter in what light conditions you are photographing. Even the built-in flash is ok and better than the FZ50.
I will extend this review from time to time.
