Lightning connector is permanently under power!

I even do not know how I should keep it in words. Product was delivered within 3 days (which was sometimes even faster at Amazon). Packaging is really class, no big frills as one else has. Especially no plastic has been used.
So cable is connected and plugged into the iPhone, everything works just fine. When power supply I use the originals 5W of Apple. If the iPhone is not loaded is actually the cable plugged into the mains and is on the table.

But today when I tried to load my iPhone and came into contact with the Lightning connector with your hands, met with literally the shock!
I thought I was crazy. Since I get but actually through the metal piece at the beginning of an electric shock was clearly noticeable, almost painful!

I do not knows what to say to that. Amazon I had something guaranteed not intended. Cable is of course back immediately before my smartphone or even still I will itself damaged.

I have the whole then checked again and got confirmed when I checked the cable that prevails permanently tension. Either it is a defect that should never happen / should or it was never noticed.
In any case, the last AmazonBasics product on my part!
