The 95er album of Simply Red is probably without a doubt one of the most successful of the band. The break was worth it apparently. The result are ten tracks in typical Simply Red sound embedded in the unmistakable vocals of Mick Hucknall. And each of these titles is somehow different. The whole results in pop music that mixes times more with jazz, or accepts a Jamaican Regea sound, as in "Hillside Avenue", and sometimes sounds like the best of our Soul. "Fairground" finally brings every dancefloor tremble while "Never Never Love" is "so beautiful" and "we're in this together" the right music for a quiet evening at sunset. Not to be forgotten are the two best-known pieces, "you make me believe" and Remembering The First Time ". This album belongs in every well-stocked CD collection and deserves undoubtedly five star. After this album one is sure to obtain the latest tense and expects a similarly good record. (This is an Amazon.com at the university-student review.)
