- Greatest zoom range of all cameras to date (2000mm optical !, digitally to 8000mm KB)
- Best picture quality of all Super zoom in Photo & Video
- Best stability in Photo & Video
- Very good swivel display
- Good viewfinder (unlike the predecessor cameras)
- Wide 24mm from KB
- Good macro capability
- Very good speed (who knows the predecessor, will be pleasantly surprised)
- Easy operation (buttons / keys / menu similar to the Nikon DSLRs)
The photo-image quality is above all superzoom Bridges, which I had. I have the P900, compared to the Canon SX60, the Nikon P600, the P520, the Sony HX400V and others (Travel Zoom HX60, SX700, S9700, etc.). There are currently no comparable camera example for bird or wildlife photography or for 'Planespotting'.
Those who do not need as much zoom, but even more image quality want, you should buy a system camera or a Panasonic bzw- FZ1000. the Sony RX10 view. But these cost more and have much less zoom. They are also not as 'ingenious video cameras' as the P900 - I say this also with regard to the ability of 4K FZ1000.
