I have used the preset channel and it immediately went flawlessly. The voice quality is good, no noise.
Of course it can come in a residential area means that you come to a same channel as others, but with so many channels is not a problem. However, one can possibly be heard by others, so better not private conversations next to the turned-on baby monitors.
My daughter said it was determined to write a strong radiation at a range of up to 3 km. I did some research on the internet and Ökotest has found that analog baby monitors significantly lower radiation emit as digital. However, I have doubts that it is 3km far to hear. Perhaps in the open field, but since it will use the least.
So I put the radio loud and sat down with the parent unit in the car and drove off. After all, I could hear 600m radio, in between were already many houses. But then a mountain between us, as it was gone, which is understandable.
