Since 2014 I've bought a new 3D LED TV from LG, I also wanted a player of the latest generation. The choice fell on the BP640 I have since Christmas extensively in use. I've been using the device look exclusively for Blu-ray's. Apart from that but I was still important to be able to install any software updates via WLAN. The player boots up again a bit faster than my BP420 and leaves nothing in terms picture and sound nothing to be desired. Just awesome! Furthermore, any drive noise are imperceptible both at boot time and when you play the disc handy. Again, a small improvement for BP420 and 620. Then I can not conceal the fact that 1 in 10 Blu-ray's somewhat louder noise when playing occurred that had disappeared after about 10 minutes. Here the device had apparently problems with the disc, but as has been said often. For me no reason to deduct a star. Otherwise I can only recommend the player. Who puts on good quality at a reasonable price value makes nothing wrong!
