This great tragedy can be read in a way, and that is its greatest strength. For a dreamy teenager whose imagination allows him to easily imagine the "small" Antigone so well described by the book. Then, in the light of the back cover (and first too!) We see the modern side, this collective unconsciousness of another evil eye. Thus, this tragedy can be seen as the beginning of a dictatorship and it is one of the biggest losses. This way of wanting to disguise, conceal, deceive is so denouncing it may shock, but the implicit deal with the purity of the young Sarus makes the irony. Well there is recognized the talent of anouilh and this is what makes this book is endearing. I would love to see him in the theater, the representation must be breathtaking. Great theater.
