No rest in this sequel, Maxime Chattam takes us again in his improbable and incredible world with ease. We meet new people and also begin to contemplate the expanse of the changes made to the world since the storm. Jai enjoyed discovering these new landscapes including dry sea (or forest Blind) and ingenuity clan Kloropanphylles which is virtually "merged" with nature, its alteration is incredible (jaurai dailleurs liked to spend a little more time with den them to know a bit more)!
Small flat and I do not really explain it but know i still had a small disappointment for Cyniks that I finally found that they do more advanced létaient described in the first game, too, their beliefs about the predictions of Malronce and memories for Most erased Mount also seemed implausible. However, I must admit that their dark and scary people is relatively well described (but lacks terribly development and dexplication!), The drinker dInnocence and Spiritual Master are good examples of the perversion of human described by author
Jai also felt that the story was a little fast and really wanted more jaurais mattarder on some characters that I think would have deserved a little more dexplication and depth that lon sy clip (but also so that lon can hate them !! ). It happens a lot to both lon and still does not understand what it sest happened during the storm, and why, and how etc. (To linstar Letrange of Balthazar; for me, his return in this story made a big flop!). Note: This dystopian saga in which our heroes learn to survive after the storm, is gradually transformed into good novel davant Fantasy and the world and all issues relating sy gradually begins to disappear in the minds of our protagonists.
The Alliance of the Three still grown, Matt, Amber Tobias and despite their 15/16 are more mature than ever in spite of their deep desire to never lose their innocence for fear of becoming in turn Cyniks. This last thought is dailleurs often present in our three heroes who are confronted with this fear each in turn. The action is very present, may be too detrimental to our characters who lose in my opinion a bit of depth, I had a little impression of distant mêtre two during my reading and do not quite understand the shame!
Beyond the plot, Maxime Chattam leads us to reflect on the relationship between the man and the planet, more precisely nature. There is also talk of religion and power, in this volume we grasp at least the following prémicesla still promises great revelations!
In brief: New and exciting adventures to follow in Another World, unknown, dark, mysterious and magical. Maxime Chattam universe continues menchanter by its originality and beauty, fantastic creatures, this upset and transformed nature and most deadly ny lon time if not careful! The locomotion means are extraordinary worthy of a great Jules Verne! Customs of the clans, the ideas found to still learn to live after the storm but especially to survive This is certain, I will continue to devour this saga despite some minor "hiccup" outlined above and yet do not mount any prevented to appreciate histoirealors this to follow!
