Since I shave I have used for years Noname razor with replaceable blade of a drugstore. At the time I simply for such a decided because my interchangeable blades were just too expensive for Gillette and Wilkinson. My friend told me then fall by about two years for a brand razor, because she is very happy with the Gillette Venus Divine razor. Due to an offer at the time, I then decided to use a Wilkinson razor Hydro5 with 2 blades. I have not regretted that choice.

The Device

Already in the pack to me is that, noticed great design in my eyes. When I first took in hand the razor I was momentarily surprised by the weight. But it was clear that it weighs a little more than a wet razor, he has finally a little art in itself. But when I found that the battery is already inside, I was amazed. The lower part of the razor is secured by a thread. When opening the thread you noticed the seal rubber, which protects the innards from splash in the shower. That has worked for me so far also works without problems.
Without the AA battery, the device already weighs significantly less and to my mind no more than two single AA batteries. The supplied stand has great room for the razor and all four essays that are with in the package. To shave, I simply imagine the stand on the edge of a sink.
For the trimmers there are three essays in different sizes (2, 4 and 6 mm). The fourth essay is the razor, the addition at the rear has a single blade for precise edges. Since the single blade outermost sits at the top you can aim at very closely while shaving the desired edge. The 4-blade shaver does exactly what it should and also very good. With currently more than 4 per Gillette Fusion ProGlide Power blades, 4 pieces, I expect that as well. The point I have no difference to my old Wilkinson razor Hydro5 found with 2 blades. The blade can be separated from the top and thus adjust the blade of the Gillette Fusion Power razor ProGlide. Even after one and a half months with mostly two shaves a week is the blade sharp and works as in the first shave. The strip on the blade, which moisturizes, continues to do so still. Meanwhile, this strip looks to be a little taken out. Make commitments if the oils contained shave the gentle I use too little different shaver. What I can say is that I have no problems with the compatibility of these oils.

Shaving

Thanks to my product test project I was advised good for my shave with the new shaver. To shave with this device I can recommend the videos Gillette each only.

What I would like to add here is that the cleaning of the trimmer has amazed me. I had feared that the stubble stuck here in mechanics and are not quite as simple to remove. I still remember how I saw my father often used to doing, as he had to take his electric shaver half apart to clean it. The Gillette Styler cleaning is actually how to watch the video, done with rinse the trimmer. The situation is different unfortunately with the single precision blade on back of the shaver. The cleaning of this blade is so far always been Fummelarbeit for me. That's the only reason why the Gillette Styler from me does not get the full review. If, something changes by replacing the blade I'll add here and adjust my review.
