Career:
The career is staged boring and at times embarrassing, for each completed race you get new "fans" to the currency of the game.
This one needs to the newly founded WSR (World Series Racing) continues to develop and make popular, langweilliger and idea-less it no longer is that TOCA Race Driver series on the PS2 is still how to present a career tidy.
Add to this the one places repeatedly drives the absolutely same routes, sometime one has enough when you have to go to Barcelona or Paris 100 times, real distances can be found as well, but are clearly outnumbered against the fantasy lines.
Driving behavior:
Without question, the greatest weakness of the game, the cars break in the curves of constantly, it drifts virtually the entire race
over and crashes in the AI opponents pure.
The AI itself is totally Rüppel adhesive and skin a regular basis when overtaking in guardrail or off the track, trying to mostly the itself does not work because the AI cars drive almost rigidly on the track, it bounces more off and flies especially of the track.
Graphics:
Ansich quite presentable, but an advance for five year old the first part you have to look with a magnifying glass, there definitely would more especially since one has waived the cockpit view.
The damage model is, however, as with part 1, absolute reference in the racing game genre.
Sound:
The motors listen to class, even cheering noises or the chirping of birds can be heard and contribute something to the atmosphere.
The soundtrack is hardly noticeable and droning in the background to himself.
Online:
The online mode is quite alright and more fun than the career, provided you have very sensible players who do not want push all the time off the track one and it confused with Distruction Derby!
Conclusion:
Grid 2 is for me an average arcade racing game become, at times, it's also fun, especially online, but that does not conceal the Codemasters have here delivered one of their weaker games, unfortunately!
If it were, I would give the game 2 1/2 stars, because of the online mode I managed to round to three stars, although two were definitely reasonable.
