My new requirements:
- Laser / LED technology, because "cheap" ink in the low pressure volume dries again and clogged the nozzles
- Good print on letter with letterhead with stylistic logo
- Color printing to possibly also a graphic or to draft print a photo
- Closed tray to prevent dust etc. pollute the indents by prolonged disuse
- Networking in order to print multiple devices. (LAN would have been ok because the printer nearby a network socket is)
- Bypass tray for heavier grammage or envelopes
The HL-3142CW is 17kg heavy, yet can be worn quite well for short distances and build alone by a person through the packaging.

About the IP address of the printer leads to a - in the price range - very extensive configuration menu, which allows interesting settings especially for small businesses.
Ua IP blocks and user restrictions can (number of pages / color / PIN print / etc.) are administered, e-mail messages are sent in disturbances to the administrator and of course the toner levels are queried.
Included with all is what can be printed a 1,000 sheet paper (toner cartridges level OVP lt.) - But beware! The for the installation preferable USB cable (Type A to B) is not there! Usually one has such a but somewhere even further by printers, scanners, external 3.5 "-HDD enclosures.
Conclusion:
At my relatively small print volume of 200 sheets / year I come with laser / LED printers and the initial filling significantly "more" than with dried inkjets. All requirements are met so far. Photo prints are of course already due to lack of color mixing ratio is not as of (good) inkjets, but I let "real" photos of imaging externally. The third-party toner cartridges cost about 1/5 of the original, the original 200% of printer price. The other wearing parts are me by my pressure behavior long survive (eg drum units: 15,000 pages / 200 pages per year = 75 years);)
In short: Very good price / performance ratio. Lt. Brother Flyer is the monthly (!) Optimal print volumes with 1,500 pages, the maximum at 30,000 pages.
