There are few good chargers for special battery types in round shape. This is one of them. Moreover, it is exceptional value for money!

At this charger there is so far little to complain about. Microprocessor-controlled charging bays all special batteries are recognized and optimally loaded.

The charge status is indicated via green flashing or constant LEDs.
About the special types Li / ion addition, conventional AAA, AA and C batteries can be loaded. Toll.

That is to adapt the charging voltage to the battery type and reliable shutdown after charging depending on the previous capacity. Enough charged batteries are not recharged. The power consumption is zero. Thus, the charger could remain permanently on the network, because no standby consumption flows.
The voltage for example of 18650 Li-ion or Li-ion batteries, for example RCR123A is after charging exactly 4.2 volts charge voltage. The three green LEDs (three pieces per tray are available) will light constant; thus the end of charging is shown. During charging a rough estimate of the charge state is possible by flashing of one of the three LEDs.

While the slide in the charging slots function with almost no play without hakeln. But they are a bit short and behind it there is no room for a rational fitting with long battery.
It lacks a kind of extension, so that this slide can be pushed with your finger back and held there until the batteries are positioned correctly in the charging slots. But it must be something biased in large type batteries 18650 with one hand, so that the battery can be easily inserted at an angle and properly seated in the retracted state.
Also, the contact of short, here RCR123A battery is not always safe. It then will be no charge. In this case, I have something at the rear slide handle until the contact is established correctly.

In practice, this operation of inserting is somewhat tricky.

The Euro style pluggable power cord is sized very short. So it may not be enough of the power strip on the floor up to the counter but only to a rather lower table. That's why I used a longer power cord from my inventory.

Alternatively, the charging unit can be operated on the road in the car means accompanying 12-connector cable to the power socket and recharge approximately Flashlight 18650 batteries etc..
