As "so80s Presents Alphaville" sounds? "Forever Young"! Ok, that was flat, but it hits exactly. The music of Alphaville oscillates between restless, plush and clean as it could only 80s. This fits with the sound that the remastering has brought out the original tapes of the A- and B-sides of the former Maxi-Singles. From far less acknowledged B side jewels to the Alphaville classic hits "Forever Young," "Big In Japan", "Sounds Like A Melody" shimmers and flashes everything without (sonically) to lose depth. Blank & Jones have remastered carefully. Thanks for that.
