Once the most positive points:
++ Absolutely wonderful display - bright (or correspondingly dark / black), sharp, full HD resolution - at 5 inches and somewhat useful
++ Really great camera + very good camera app (s). At the latest at the small video shoot from the bicycle you are simply blown away, which can cause such an optical image stabilizer.
++ Map navigation, full offline capability. And this for 0 extra cost! And no, Google Maps or Apple Maps service does not pay that. Example: city visit to Rome: Before maps downloaded and then I have full offline navigation and maps. And the world!
++ Fast. It just all goes very smoothly, apps launch quickly, the browser displays pages quickly. And as with iOS: no stuttering, no wobbles, the animations are absolutely fluently.
++ Wireless Charging: Ok, for some game stuff, for me just totally nice, because I thus have a place where I can just lay down the unit and then it loads.
++ Office: you can look very good Office documents (Word, Excel, PPT). There are (almost) no errors in the presentation. And we always: free.

The workmanship is very good - I do not know what is reported here in some reviews about loose end buttons or creaking housing. On my machine it at least there is nothing to remember. May be that other because have a very special feeling - I think it's absolutely fine. And that goes really well compared to my iPhone.
So what you have to get involved:
- There are just 5 inches! That's great, and simply felt a different class than eg a Lumia 820 - you just can not with one hand out for many things. Or there is a risk that mobile losing. As a sedative: I have accustomed me after about a week and it seems to me my (much appreciated 820) now somehow small and mainly: blurred before.
- Windows Phone: Yes, it has just not all apps. Any advertising an emblazoned "available for iPhone and Android" counter - so so so rare only Windows Phone :-( But: The key for me apps are all there - in parts, there is also (eg YouTube) very good alternative apps. ,
Otherwise, Windows Phone is very nice and for IOS users also something different and fresh.
Since WP 8.1, many functions are integrated, you always wished for more. And the development continues rapidly. The development will be further traced on older smartphones - so is installed on my 820 a cutting-edge Windows 8.1. As can (hearsay, caution) to date only wish the Android users so. For iOS users: Apple is doing even more clear that there is a new, great update. And it is even more readily available. And it has a reasonable name. In Microsoft's all often a little puzzling, and you have to check a little and look at what you have there or what has brought the new update.
In sum WP 8.1 makes mood.
What are the details that I still nervous:
- VPN: There is not a Cisco VPN client available ... Is it under iOS since what-do-I. WP: None.
- The nice Solitair app (yes, this card game) somehow burns 100% CPU power. Accordingly, the hot device, the battery drains rapidly. Uh ... hello? The app is one of you, Microsoft! Does that times please healing!
Conclusion:
When should I - in spite of all the positive aspects - 930 very well consider buying the Lumia:
- If you get the latest Apps and above all: the hot new games need. For Kiddies therefore WP falls through again and again: the trendy games (eg "Clash of Clans" there is not). In the circle of friends of course makes little joy ...
- If you're just relying on certain special solutions - then usually remains only iOS.
For whom is a look at the device but definitely worth:
If
- A smartphone with a great display looking - and can make friends with a 5-inch device, which is also a bit of what weighs
- Would like to have a great camera, for example, can make the small Compact superfluous on holiday
- Wants to use a mobile phone as a map / GPS
- Wants to read from and to office documents
then the Lumia 930 is really, really worth one or more views.
