A beautiful book 1 1

Platform is a good novel but which merit. The story starts in fact with Michel, a closed little skill to thirty human relationships after the death of his father, decided to purchase a tourist group travel to Thailand. This part proves the most difficult to read because Michel Houellebecq meant writing like life his hero depressive way. So you get bored and pages turn slowly.

Then, our "hero" returns to Paris and finds a group of young women; an extraordinary passion is born between them: pages are moving and Houellebecq writes and describes the fusion of the couple through sex.

To say more would be criminal: I remain very vague rest because the book deserves to be discovered without anyone knowing anything. Writing cold and sad Houellebecq yet knows how to touch the heart repeatedly. This is a true and beautiful novel, intelligent and even shocking at times. But also cynical and terrible on free trade, mass tourism, sexual misery of the West and foreign prostitution.
