I am concerned primarily about the simple editing of the channel list on the PC using the small free tool called ChanSort. This channel lists recent television from Samsung, LC, Panasonic and Toshiba are easily edited. (Unfortunately not allowed Amazon links. Just google it, it can be found for example in Sound Forge or smart enough download options)
For finishing one proceeds as follows:
Best on TV previously perform a complete channel scan. It is important that the scan is not selected, the Astra or Sky Channel list, but "No" is ticked. Just so the list can also be edited later (A small LG-specificity, whose meaning is not obvious to me)
Then export the station list. For this purpose connect a USB flash drive to USB port 2. (The drive must not be empty and will not be deleted. Perhaps also works another port, I have tested up to two port)
Press "Settings" on the remote and hold until the SETUP menu disappears and the message bar from the top down scrolling (as happens after about 5-8 seconds)
Release the "Settings" button and immediately after, the series of numbers in 1105 followed by "OK" to enter.
You will see a Setup menu, where the down arrow key on USB Cloning - navigating> OK -> OK -> Send to USB.
Thus, the setting list is copied to the USB flash drive.
When finished, plug USB stick on the PC, launch the file and CanSort xxLB580V-ZM00001.TLL open (the other file created is here unimportant).
Now the channel list can be easily edited with the tool and stored back on the USB port back. This is relatively self-explanatory and easy, so I will not dwell on it here.
To replay the edited file to the TV start the same operation as reading the station list, only that instead of "Send to USB" now logically "Receive from USB 'must be selected. After selecting the file-xxLB580V ZM00001.TLL and confirm with "OK". The channel list is loaded to the TV, the device switches itself off after that. After restarting the edited channel list should be active.
Good Succeed!
