I have since Netbook now for almost 2 weeks and allow myself time a preliminary assessment of the device. If at this little should change in retrospect, I'll resent it.
One can already on the basis of 5 stars see that I'm not unhappy. ;-)
No, seriously: I'm really inspired by the netbook.
I bought the version with Linux and for people who are undecided: Take the operating system !!! It beats anything Microsoft hands down. It is fast, extremely (!!!) easy to use (no large settling time; have no hour to so clearly to come), and for example: there are no viruses for Ubuntu, ie it saves the hassle and expensive purchase of anti-virus systems.
Have now so in respect on the operating system the rapidity addressed. The netbook is also very fast. When it is shut down mode is booted Ratz Fatz and ready for use. With Internet use, while background music via music player and multiple open PDF's and documents, it is still very fast. Use it intensively every day on the job and has been able to find any negative point to the speed of the device. So here there is of me definitely a perfect score!
Noise: The netbook though is not loud, but it must be said that one already hears, when it's quiet. However, it is not so, as it would interfere with.
For keyboard and mouse pad: The keyboard is really comfortable to use (better than my big 17-inch laptop). The mouse pad is extremely large for such a small "laptop". This can sometimes be really nervous, however, is not for real work on the device is actually a hindrance. The "mouse buttons" of the pad (do not know how the technical term for this is ;-)) are more likely of inferior quality, because they can be far and push the cursor always a little bit with moving when clicked. Nevertheless, this is worth no points deduction because the positive things far outweigh.
Topic Battery Life: The battery indicator is actually extremely accurately, that just that one can rely on it when one says the unit "you have 3 hours and 44 minutes," then you have that also. Advice on the new Windows systems at Netbooks reports to the contrary. ;-)
So it keeps really long. With a fully charged condition about 4 hours. Accordingly: top!
Positive are still emphasize the 3 USB entrances (1x USB2.0, 2x USB3.0) and the presence of VGA, HDMI ports (for students highly beneficial -> Keywords: oral reports, presentations) and integrated SD card interface ,
Again what the system: who can do without the Microsoft Office suite (there have always used and can now confidently plan refrain), who will also find it here. The LibreOffice package of Ubuntu was amazing. Can all Office also can (and more) is super easy to use (for people who have already worked with Office: 0 Problemo) and the best part: it's free and preinstalled.
Conclusion: user-friendly cream product (especially for Microsoftverdrossene ;-)) to just and favorable price !!
