Positives:
-Very nice practical zoom range
-relative compact and lightweight; results with the Nikon D700 a well-balanced unit
Processing is very good; there is a lot of plastic installed but a high-quality impression makes
-large, well effective lens hood
-About The durability of the objective of course I can not have any statement to make (as a revaluation would in a few years make sense)
-Arbeitsgeräusche: Autofocus very quiet; Image Stabilizer something more audible but not annoying
-Bildqualität: At maximum aperture at all focal lengths all right 'even at 300mm; 1-2 stages dimmed very good sharpness and contrast
(Ie visual subjective judgment, no measurements on the optical bench)
Vignetting and distortion are certainly available, but not conspicuously visible
-very effective image stabilizer VC
-Autofokus Is quickly and accurately
neutral:
-with Aperture 1: 4.0-5.6 not just high speed, but for weight and size are still very easy to handle, even in the camera bag claimed the Tamron is not too much space.
negative:
I can -da (yet) find nothing
Conclusion:
A class telephoto zoom with useful range zoom range; good workmanship and good to very good uniform optical performance that I've always enjoyed doing because of its acceptable size and weight.
The hammer is also makes freehand possible for me the super effective image stabilizer VC of good exposure levels 3-4; So rather than at eg 300mm focal length - and then actually necessary 1 / 500s - still very good non-wobbled results at 1 / 60s or even 1 / 30s helps (the motif of course must not move there!).
This is really great and makes the relatively small maximum aperture of 1: 4.0-5.6 almost forgot:
Overall a very good 'take-along-telephoto zoom' 'I am so and the price / performance ratio very satisfied!
