Overall, I am also satisfied with this tablet that fills well in my opinion its feature set, imitation and awakening. The robust design makes less fear falls than adults shelves. Between games (applications or cartridges), books, photo and video, I find it very complete. The lack of WiFi is for me both an advantage (safety) and a disadvantage (accessibility) and therefore it is difficult to know what would be better.
In my opinion, the main negative is the LeapFrog App Center could be greatly improved. We are far from the efficiency and variety of choice of the Apple AppStore. The purchasing system is not very convenient since it must first buy cards of "credits" (1 or 2 are required for a game in general) and then enter the codes go in the App Center to download the game. Even without WiFi, we would still even have imagined a more integrated process ... Then the offer is confined to that proposed by LeapFrog so it is necessarily limited (basically, it comes down to LeapFrog characters Dora and Disney) never free accustomed ... In the iPad, I regret that we can not download a light version of a game for free and buy that please or even access a review and rating system by users. That said, our daughter has not yet called us to new game and particularly likes "the shelter of friends," a pre-installed game where we take care of a small animal. As to the application offered (1 credit) with the tablet unless I am mistaken, it reveals is predefined (the train). My daughter was a little disappointed initially because it was not one she had selected but eventually she enjoys the game. A second negative is the battery operation. The manufacturer suggests replacing by a rechargeable battery but, as all accessories (case, shell or headset), it is of course an additional cost.
PS: For the record, I have just discovered that the App Center US (on the US site) is more developed than the French equivalent (small demos of the applications, notice & Notes users). This can help to learn about the available games in French and give hope that the French website soon moving in the same direction.
