When this album came out, the competition looked pretty old. See now after 17 years of Metallica older, but the album also its competitors and could not bring out no album that the genius of Master Of Puppets like. The only thing that is not here to date is likely to be the production, the rest is timeless and defined the metal by Metallica standards. From start to finish the best riffs are represented that existed hitherto, the production was (for that time) powerful and bold! James Hetfield was able to improve his vocal performance (but he could sing really only since the Black Album), Cliff and Lars took the proper rhythmic accompaniment to the guitar tracks and Kirk sat top it all with his solos. This album can be heard through from front to back and from me also from back to front, it is easy even if you listen to 24 hours straight horny (made in advance? If not only!). Do I have to songs like "Master Of Puppets", "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)", "Battery" or anything to say? Everyone who only partly with Metallica busy, knows these pieces and unlike some new material, it may at any. Who Metallica like there is no way on this album. An album which has definitely influenced the music scene! ROCK ON!
