The advantages of the player are sure that very good price / performance ratio and the good sound at an attractive processing. An I-Pod Nano is no better processed but significantly more expensive.
To what I would like to correct:
1. Volume:
The volume is heavily dependent on the use headphones. The supplied headphones are also something which has been produced directly for the ton. This is not to realize different but at the present price war. Alone the high-priced Sony make an exception here. I've tried the Archos with the Sennheiser CX 300 II and the Denon AH-C 452. With the latter he really blossoms. Great fidelity, of the bass on the middle to treble. Almost like with high quality big headphones. Both the volume was more than satisfactory.
2.The Resume function (as further hearing where you were most recently)
The course there is and it is not complicated to use them. You just have to know how and there can be a user manual in the lurch. It depends on how the Archos 2 off. Pressing for 5 seconds, the Play / Pause button it is so off the all settings are retained. Switched on again on the same button it goes exactly where you left off further.
3.The Hold function (key lock during playback)
The is also available, but is not as usual to use a separate switch on the housing but using a shortcut key: Press volume and dinner together and the lock icon appears at the top right of the screen. Just as well go back.
If the manual is not so mau could, always with respect to the price, also give 5 stars.
By the way there or on the Archos website an FAQ which will bear much more than the manual (unfortunately only in English).
