Customer Review

It's just sucks. Networks operate on a few fundamental rules: There is a router that assigns the addresses and there are clients that log on to the router. For this you need the name of the wireless network, which spans the router and the password.

This printer here does just that. But that is nowhere clearly stated. Instead, you have to install any S ****** and launch programs and "Locate Your Printer" button.

I then plugged in a USB cable, but also because no printer was found.

Eventually I understood that I have to change the wireless network. But how is the password? Stood somewhere on the net, the password are the last 6 digits of the MAC address.

Nowhere on the device is the MAC address of the built-in wireless connection. Not even behind the already screwed battery.

Then I found out that one MAC address and network settings learns if you can print a status sheet. That goes with the buttons on the device. I think the central press so long until the power button has six times flashed.

That would be the first thing that I would write the manual.

Even the insertion of the printhead was nowhere described.

Finally, I never imagined the app loaded for iPhone - after I found a YouTube video where one sets up the printer with an iPad.

Also this app can not find the b *********** printer. Not even after I had the WLAN switch on the smartphone to Canon IJ.

You can also submit access via router to the printer. The IP is specified after printing the status sheet. User name is: admin and password is "canon". This is of course not in the manual or in a small leaflet, but the one must search the Internet.

Then log you about the browser you can, however, the printer is not connected to the own router.

Unlike but that does not make sense, of course - I can not keep changing the Wi-Fi if I want to print.

What is this snot?

I had ordered the part because it has received outstanding reviews here. It's small, mobile, etc. But I do not now ever noticed repeatedly that network products are sold without describing the very basic access to the device clearly.

Ethernet connection, the printer has not, moreover. Otherwise I would have times associated him with the router, then perhaps he would get so via DHCP an IP in my network.

Yes More I did not want to.
