I'll use it to protect my panniers and my helmet on bicycle in front of the driver.
So now the guide, because it is really not very well described:
Step 1:
First you have on the right side (the Abus icon is in front), top right (next to the numeric code), push in completely the knob. This works best if you have a ballpoint pen takes (with a finger you get the point not). At the same time (ie hold button) is used to set its own individual code.
Step 2:
Once you have set the code, you can release the pure pressed button again.
Step 3:
Now you can simply pull out the cable by pushing the big button on the right side.
The front part of the cable can now be locked (lock closed).
Step 4:
Now, if you change the code, can no longer open the lock. So adjust the previously set individual code and even the lock opens again.
