.... I'll be the first listen. My thoughts wander off and I think of Jim Morrison and his Doors. Just like The Doors seem to have deep in Blues The Whiskey Foundation has its roots. Their sound is similar to that of the Doors and the occasional sounds singer Murat as Jim Morrison. Their first album "Take The Walk" was a different number, more classical rock and roll. Also on Mood Machine he is heard, the sound of the 60s but blues-heavy with hazy keyboard. thumping bass and shimmering guitars. The harmonica, there are now and then to hear Murat sings passionately, sometimes I think, as I said to Jim Morrison time to Joe Cocker in his early days. Highlights are sure Lonely, Waterman, ridin 'and the very end that very reminiscent of the Doors piece Before It's Over. A class album that I can recommend to all who are on blues roots rock.
