Customer Review

Actually, I would not necessarily call myself a diehard Stones fan, but this record is really close to my heart. This rough unpolished sound is but a welcome change to all the overproduced and ahlglatten pop stuff that you get nowadays often served. The looseness of the Keith Richards of his detuned guitar unforgotten riffs such. As the elicits from Brown Sugar is still looking for their peers, and also the record is a document of the relatively short period in the Mick Taylor of the band belonged and it had an adequate lead guitarist , And the combination of Charlie Wattts unique understated and spartan wooden drumming, the rich Rhytmusarbeit of Richards and the filigree solos by Tayler and finally the characteristic voice of Mick Jagger to make this album a Höhpunkt in rock history, with classics like Wild Horses and Dead Flowers. Just a pity that the CD envelope does not have the beautiful zipper LP packaging. (This is an Amazon.com at the university-student review.)
