This book (to be completed with the other two volumes) contains the translation of the Exposition of Psalms Cassiodorus. This is the only complete translation into modern language. Translation is generally accurate. But sometimes we notice that some parts of the Latin text have been omitted in the translation (probably inadvertently), and the translation sometimes deserves to be corrected, suffering from excessive literalism. The notes are sketchy and bring only a few additions to a text that deserves a much more detailed comments, which can only be the difficult one man task, given the scale of the work of Cassiodorus.
