by now catchier use of Bose ® Companion® 2 Series III Multimedia Speaker System I would like to ask my review available.
The boxes are delivered in a reasonable package. The plastic body by the boxes are a good solution if you want to store there again later for example the boxes. The trappings and the first contact with the contents, however, is very gratifying.
Commissioning is very simple and straightforward with the enclosed short manual as. Even technology laymen should not be brought to an insurmountable hurdle here.
The right box has a rotary knob, which acts simultaneously as a volume control. Under the control knob is still a headphone jack if you want to hear but even at night through the headphones music. Of course, a tablet with the supplied 3.5 jack plug can be connected.
The volume to be achieved in my opinion is very high, but the basses are then scaled back slightly, so that the boxes do not begin to rattle.
I use the two speakers on a MacBook Pro and am very happy with the sound. I already have a Bose SoundLink, via the I stream music via Bluetooth. Here I am also very pleased with the sound, although stand out as a small flaw is not so perfect middle. This applies to the Companion 2 Series III as well as to the SoundLink. The bass and treble are very well represented in terms of volume, what the boxes give. That's Bose-typical in my eyes, although I am the sound of Bose thus accustomed and like very much. The sound comes to my mind with the Companion 2 Series III very plastic and very spatially over. I use this mostly Apple Lossless files or MP3 files with at least 256kbit / s.
Who besides the design (see my humble opinion very elegant and stylish from) want to have a good to very good sound, which can be accessed safely. Those who have already had experience with Bose speakers, is the sound may be the same make. Who are the centers very important, I advise in any case to a trial hearing. It is not so that the centers completely missing, but somehow I personally feel that there is something missing. Or maybe just my imagination.
Conclusion:
From me the boxes get a perfect score. I am with the sound more than satisfied and for use on a fixed set out space (the boxes are to be used only with power supply, as powered speakers) should not go wrong. Who the centers are very important, which may like to reduce it to 4 stars. The perceived quality as well as the design and workmanship are impeccable at this point of my tests. If you change something here, contrary to expectations, so my review is of course expanded.
