The reception strength and quality of DVB-T has improved markedly compared to my older TVMini Miglia including an active antenna in the same location using the included passive antenna!

However, I will personally not happy the quality of the FM radio reception. It rushes heavily and there are only relatively few stations received, although I with a normal radio receive many more stations in much better quality at the same location.

To process the possibility analog signals, eg VHS tapes or Video8 / Hi8 tapes, and digitize, is a good thing!
For VHS tapes: What is needed is a video recorder that has an output for an antenna cable. These connect to the Hybrid Stick. Then make EyeTV under "sender" to "cable" and start a channel scan. For me, a "complete" search was necessary. EyeTV finds multiple signals, one of which is the video signal from the VCR. Now start the VHS cassette and record EyeTV. For digitizing 8mm tapes you look at my video!

A real minus was for the integrated in the software editor for cutting recorded movies! Already EyeTV 2 I was not impressed by this and have always movies with an external program that can frame accurately cut, edited. Unfortunately my hopes were not fulfilled, that the editor in EyeTV 3 has improved:
Example: often on the TV screen of 16: 9 to 4: 3 to - for example, after / before acquisitions. Now, if you want to cut these commercials with the editor, it is almost impossible to cut out this advertising accurately (!!)! 1. it is almost impossible to put on such a "breaking point" the marker accurately, 2. if you have set the marker well, succeed EyeTV 3, the transition after cutting still not good (video and / or Tonreste disrupt the transition) Comparing the whole, for example with the freeware program MPEG Streamclip, with an uncomplicated, detailed cutting is possible, even more air is EyeTV 3 in this area up.

(Supplement on 02/06/2015): even after more than five years of continuous use, the hardware still works for me perfectly and reliably! The software works seamlessly with the latest Mac operating system, without me or similar Surcharges for updates since the purchase five years ago they would - that you did not live too often these days!
On my 5 stars are however already sees that this is just a small flaw in the software! Otherwise, I am what reception, hardware, ease of use, presentation software, etc. As very satisfied !!!
