Friend pompous orchestrations I was right the first listening speechless - a debut, and so lavish! In interviews the guys are used to fabricate Pop. Yet they do not overdo it, the votes are not slick polished, and always there are here and there still chugging and crackers, or an out of control party crew guessed roars in "Comes Around" the finale.
Let us mention the clever dramaturgy of the album. Since there are successful counterpoints: the Partygejohle in "Comes Around" closes a fragile bass intro to "Stellaris" on. Ever "Stellaris": the instrumental in the middle part has something of film music, something exotic (perhaps James Bond) and actually something cosmic. In the same vein suggests the instrumental "After all, what he sad", avowedly inspired by Philip Glass: Soundtrack music at its best, chamber music and intimate but spherical, and the boundaries of pop austestend. Will be replaced this title again by a knuckernden and squealing dance-number ("Ursa Major").
There's plenty to discover on the disk: at "Chiropody" I particularly liked the drums, "Somedays Sundays" is one night by 1 clock on the highway is the perfect soundtrack for the night, and in "Crystal Lake" reminded me the guitar the early Element of Crime ... to name just a few impressions.
According to legend, the record company has not talked purely in the production. If it were true, she has done well. The album remains strong and versatile to the very end, a playground, the sure wished many veteran. I tell it possible critical distances and yet very much: Arctic Circle 18 have the potential for an international breakthrough.
