Load surprised many of its output. The diehard fans who swear by kill'em all and Master of Puppets had hair pulling. But Load is a good album, I'm sure. I found it disappointing at one time, but I enjoy it more and more. It is certainly less than what nag preceded but we see that Metallica knows his music and has taken the liberty to explore unknown worlds. Mind you, they would have a style of Black Album album, they looked like they did not know how to change style, so no hypocrisy ... So specifically, what about Load? It's a much more soft than its black predecessor album: the rhythms, solos, songs, everything fell a few hertz ... But it's still very interesting to see that Metallica has reached maturity in addressing sensitive issues such as cancer (in Until it Sleeps, poignant). There are the epic songs like Bleeding Me and Outlaw Torn, monumental both. Is not My Bitch opens the show with a bang, proving that the 4 Horsemen have not lost the form. Hero of the Day is a nice mix of melody and power, one of the tubes of the album, King Nothing is heavy song on the disc, as Thorn Within; Wasting My Hate is an attempt rather innefficace back to brutality damage. But if you really want to oiginalité, here are the House Jack Built (although heavy and punctuated with an amazing solo) and especially Mama Said (I warn you, it does not recognize in this song Metallica!), Which pushes James Hetfield singing country. This album discover because it is always interesting to see what the different groups, but it is not the Metallica that was known in the 80s.
