Rubycon is for me the music of Tangerine Dream in their essence. The work of Tangerine Drema is incredibly umfasssend. I personally am a fan of the seventies phase of TD. Here the music is still uncompromising and non-conformist. Since the early eighties they were known by the scene-film music then an ever wider audience, and the music was konzeptiert increasingly adapted and to a wider audience. Rubycon marks the absolute pinnacle of creative phase in the seventies for me. Uncompromising turned and dreamy. Where Pink Floyd had long ceased TD just started. Here is the home of all daydreamers. Rubycon is music not of this world. The works of TD are so often decried as a product of chance. But if this product was subjected to a random, so it is a perfect chance. Never electronic music was perfect. I also want to expressly contradict the values reviewer who has experienced long-winded as the beginning and end of both pieces. Especially the division of both pieces in three moments, the first part very spherical, second part dominated rhythmically and third part finale is just perfect and part of the stroke of genius.
