Messed up, I find that this player is not even capable of accessing the domestic DLNA server. The create even 50, - Euro players (eg Samsung F-5100).
Both points are not supported, which were very important to me, mean to me that I unfortunately again must return it to Amazon the device.
Setup of the equipment incl. Network setup went smoothly. Firmware update via Internet was done quickly.
Which video on demand services are supported, I can not say. Test, I've tried it with max cathedrals, here I could not penetrate to the login page. On the Sony private service I could stream movie trailers.
Anyone looking for a pure BD Player, can gladly take up the Sony. But there are far more favorable devices. I am still looking for a Amazon Prime Instant Video service enabled device with DLNA support.
