In "Green Onions" it is one of the original albums by Booker T and the MGs (I own this album with the same cover as the original LP from the 60s). The eponymous song Green Onions is here before probably best known hit of the band. Thus, one can already speak of a classic or Parade album. It should nevertheless be said that it mainly concerns cover versions with the other songs on the album that are naturally interpreted in Booker T and the MGs Art (Hammond B3 organ music + guitar + bass + drums without vocals). Those looking for from the band self-created pieces should thus possibly resort to another Collection. Is people who are not so well versed in the Soul scene and only seek the title track, should if necessary for a mixed Soul Sampler decide on the integrated Green Onions.
Conclusion: Belongs in every extensive collection Soul.
