This book, which in 1959 on the label Columbia Records / CBS saw the light of day, is considered the most famous recording of Dave Brubeck and his colleagues. But only two years later, this record reached the 2nd place of the US album charts and Paul Desmond (alto saxophone) composed, very well-known piece "Take Five" was a top hit. Dave Brubeck (piano) played here continue even with Joe Morello (drums) and Eugene Wright (bass). Teo Macero produced the album. The Hawaiian graphic designer Sadamitsu Neil Fujita, who designed among other things, some plates and book covers, was responsible for the artistic elaboration of the figure in a contemporary style. Besides the already mentioned "Take Five" is with "Blue Rondo à la Turk" another classic case. All 7 titles of the original album will listenable tracks and ensure that this album should be part of every well-stocked Jazz collection. 5 timeless star of Christian Schauer, Berlin.
