Who from "Dave Brubeck Quartet" hear "Time Out" (1959) again, the will of this brilliant sounds can no longer escape. Originally conceived as an experiment, these are but a combination of classical, jazz and oriental music, the album and the single "Take Five / Blue Rondo A La Turk" turned out to be the first million-selling jazz. Dave Brubeck (piano), Paul Desmond (saxophone), Gene Wright (bass) and Joe Morello (drums) playing intricate but catchy rhythms and melodies, and became a model for many subsequent bands, eg "Emerson, Lake & Palmer", the "Rondo" coverten. Alone the original version of the classic "Take Five" (written by saxophonist Desmond, the other 6 pieces come from Brubeck itself) is worth the purchase of this milestone the popular music of the 20th century entirely.
