The choice made on drawings rather than photographs is, in modern times, for some archaic. About me, perhaps out of habit, I prefer to rely on a good drawing that a photograph never large enough to be revealing. The choice made on the disposal of plants by flower colors are practical and logical. Handy for the beginner as didactic. Logical because, generally, the amateur (in its etymological sense took shape - who loves) looks up the name of a plant when in flower, for visually appealing it represents. Up to page 17 and on the side of the back cover, botanical reminders are very clear and pleasant. They are sufficient to understand all of the work. The section devoted to grass and shrubs and bushes is well done, identifies the main common species. This book does not lie: it is ideal to start on the ground or the corner of a table. A book set to be reissued again in the state for many years.
