Here are my impressions:
Pro:
+ What goes into the slot, will zuverklässig drawn in and processed. The chopper has a lot of power.
+ The harvesting results is ideal for preparation of compost. For mulching, there is perhaps a little too rough, but that's typical of rolling chopper.
+ Also wet chopped is crushed, as long as you, the knife adjustment properly adjusted (aluminum shavings!)
+ Should there be a time Klemmer (arrived in what is admittedly monstrous road before), you can liberate by loosening the knife adjustment and rotation reversing the jammed cut material
+ The basket for the shredded material is large enough and the Sicherheitseinrastung can easily press (some WD40 Spray helps immensely!)
+ Operating sound can be very neighborly friendly and very good to bear.
+ The device is compact, easy to move and store.
+ Overall, this people have constructed that have idea about gardening (exception below)
Cons:
- The linkage is riveted and not screwed. A rivet was already broken - I have replaced it with a screw. Here I would have liked more a consistent, stable screw for a few euros.
- The plastic of the housing is generally quite soft and sometimes slightly deformed after a single use on Einziehschlitz. I hope this does not lead to permanent loss of functionality. My old hero shredders showed after 15 years use fewer tracks to the feed slot as the ALF 2800 after a session
Conclusion:
A very good foragers small quality defects. As austerity measures were regrettably enforced that prevent a very good rating. Nevertheless, the ALF 2800eine recommendation is worth.
