My Jabra came with outdated firmware, so the task was first time to strike up the current firmware. This was achieved without any problems and was completed after about 10 minutes. Battery still fully charged, and off we went. The attachment to the sun visor in my Passat 3B6 was no more a problem (stops the bomb) as the unique pairing of the two phones.
The FSE is with me always in standby. Once I go into the car and it recognizes the first shocks (eg by closing the door, at the latest when starting my TDI), you can hear usually already the announcements "phone connected" and shortly thereafter "associated second phone". That works very reliable, you can phones and FSE so safely "forget". The prerequisite is that Bluetooth is in the phones constantly activated (at least once you get in the car). If the coupling times of exception does not work, it is almost always on the phone: Once Bluetooth de- the phone and activate again solves the problem then. But as I said, this happens very rarely and only with the same mobile phone. ,
I use the voice control of the FSE NOT so cant make any statements. When I call time itself, I use either the voice control of the mobile phone or a shortcut on the homescreen.
I usually get a call in the car, then I hear the name of the caller (if his number is stored in my contacts, the transfer of the phone book in the FSE thus works well, although I alone about 350 contacts, each usually with 2-3 numbers , did) or his phone number (for unknown callers and activated Calling Line Identification). Answer on the large button on the front, everything works fine. The voice quality is on both sides really very good, also the volume even at higher highway speeds absolutely enough (hint, if it's too quiet in spite of the set at the FSE maximum volume: Set the volume of the "Bluetooth output" on the mobile phone to maximum - just in the coupled state use the volume keys on the mobile phone - and then adjust the volume on the FSE).
I am excited of the battery life. I use the FSE now for three months. More than two months after commissioning the initial battery charge was still not exhausted, despite the fact that the FSE is around the clock in stand-by, and I had a week on average at least 10 hrs. In the car on the road at this time, which always Both phones were coupled and was also phoned every now and then. Jabra promises 14 hours. Telephoning or 40 days standby, so that's not promised too much, but still significantly understated.
After about two months, I have the battery then preventively charged again, although he, as I said, was not yet empty.
Anyway, I'm totally satisfied my requirements for FSE met Jabra with this unit to 100%.
